FAQs for replacement doors

How much does it save?
It depends how much you want to change. Generally complete supply and fitting of replacement doors and worktops etc costs about half the price of the equivalent complete kitchen So for an average kitchen of £10,000 – replacement doors etc is likely to be around £5,000
 
Can you change the unit sides and trims to match?
All existing units visible sides, cornice, pelmets, plinths, open display units can be replaced, or re-faced to match with new door colour.
 
Do you replace hinges and drawers?
If we are fitting we recommend replacing the hinges and drawer boxes (Now with soft close, as standard) for a better result, but this is optional.
 
Do the doors come with hinge holes drilled?
If we are fitting, we will usually drill the hinge holes on site, but for supply only you can order the doors pre-drilled.
 
Can you replace worktops without damaging the tiles?
In most circumstances the worktops can be removed and replaced without damaging the tiles, although this can never be guaranteed.
 
Do we have to empty the cupboards?
It can certainly make the job easier for the fitters if the cupboards are emptied, and we request emptying the base units if we are replacing the worktops, but for replacement doors only it is not necessary to empty all units, although still preferable for cleaning etc.
 
Can you do replacement doors for wardrobes as well?
As well as standard bedroom, bathroom, or office units, most of our made to measure door ranges can be made to any size including wardrobes, etc.
