We can manage the entire project for you – taking care of scheduling any building works, plastering, all plumbing and electrical work, gas installation (Including boilers and heating), also tiling, flooring and decorating.
(Obviously we bring in other professionals or specialists in these other trades, but can co-ordinate the works for you)
What is the average price for a complete kitchen?
This is a difficult question to give a straight answer to, as there are so many choices you can make that will drastically affect the cost. But for complete supply and installation prices start from £10K. In our experience the average tends to settle around £15K.
How much should I spend?
Investing in a quality kitchen is one home improvement that actually adds value to a property. Property developers and valuers say that you should budget between 3% and 5% of the property value on a kitchen Obviously you would not fit a £60,000 kitchen in a £100,000 flat, Likewise you would not expect a £5000 kitchen in a £million mansion. So as a guide for a property with a value of about £300,000 you should be looking to spend between £9,000 and £15,000 on the kitchen.
How do your prices compare in the market?
For the quality of kitchens that we supply, and the service that we provide we are undoubtedly very keenly priced, and our working margins are kept very tight to stay competitive. However, quality of materials and service are the most important foundation of our business. On an over-all like for like comparison we cannot be beaten on price.
Are your kitchens flat pack, or rigid carcass?
We offer and work with both, but don’t be fooled into thinking that rigid is automatically better than flat pack, when you are shopping around you will discover that there are varying qualities on both self assembly and rigid carcasses. Please see our separate details on Crown Imperial, Second Nature kitchens, and Excalibur doors.
Can we buy supply only?
We are happy to help you work to budget, we will do as much, or as little as you ask. If your fitters are not familiar with our “Custom Kitchens” It is essential that they speak to us about what will be involved with “on site customisation” etc that would normally be taken care of by our own expert installers.
